Sound of Submission 2014

Mount Hermon Ministries played host to the 2014 edition of the “Sounds of Submission” Praise and Worship Conference.
          The 2 day event, conceived and organized by Mount Hermon’s minister of music, Minister Roosevelt Stewart, brought together people from ministries all across Southwest Florida.
           Workshops were taught by local ministry leaders, Pastor Jeffrida Hines-Doggett (Fresh Wind Ministries), Minister Matt Lynch (Life Church) and Roosevelt Stewart (Mount Hermon Ministries).
         Participants learned lessons on becoming better praise leaders in the workshop “Spiritual Trailblazing”. Praise team members were taught how to increase their commitment in the “Follower’s Framework” workshop. And musicians were introduced to the notion that their instruments are for more than making music in “The G.I.G Giving Instruments Glory” session.
          The more than 50 singers, musicians and praise team members who attended the conference, left with a better understanding on how to be more effective praise leaders in their respective ministries.
          The event concluded with a concert featuring an all-star choir and band made up of the conference participants.  (View Photos of Event Below)
